According to statistics, the number of pensioners during the period 2020–2025 showed an upward trend.
In 2020, the number of pensioners was 33,359 people; in 2021 it reached 34,537. In 2022 the figure was 35,314 people; in 2023 it grew to 36,543. In 2024 the number of pensioners reached 38,728 people, and in 2025 — 40,558 people.
The average pension size in 2020 was 314.9 TJS. In 2021 the figure was 312.71 TJS; in 2022 — 312.69 TJS. In 2023 the average pension size rose to 357.05 TJS, in 2024 to 456.91 TJS, and in 2025 to 542.8 TJS.
