Within the framework of constructive and development initiatives in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a number of important economic and social facilities are being built in the Sughd Region.
Along the Khujand – Gafurov highway, the management of “Sogdiyon Trade Center” LLC is constructing a large shopping mall called “Sughd Mall”. According to the officials, the construction area of this center covers 3,000 square meters, and the facility will consist of five floors.
The shopping center is being built with a modern design and will feature all contemporary amenities, including escalators and other necessary infrastructure. Once operational, it will improve the quality of trade services and contribute to the creation of new jobs.
During his visit to inspect the progress of the construction work, the Chairman of the Sughd Region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, welcomed the initiatives of the leadership of the “Bars” company toward implementing the state’s constructive goals. These include increasing agricultural production, developing the industrial sector, and providing new jobs. It was emphasized that such constructive initiatives are a sign of the practical implementation of the instructions and orders of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, by patriotic domestic entrepreneurs.
Currently, dozens of local workers and specialists are employed to carry out the construction work.
At the same time, the management of the “Bars” company is continuing the construction of a livestock feed production plant in the city of Buston. The enterprise will be equipped with modern technologies, and its production process will be organized in accordance with contemporary requirements.
With the commissioning of this plant, the number of new jobs will increase, and the production volume as well as the economic potential of the region will be further strengthened.
